Find a clinic for blood tests or imaging diagnostics

At Testmottagningen, you will find clinics for blood tests, health checks and imaging examinations in most locations in Sweden. The network includes over 200 different sampling sites as well as X-ray clinics that perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and DEXA measurements.

Use the search function to find a clinic near you and see which examinations are offered in each location. The range varies between clinics.

Give a blood sample to a clinic near you

We offer health checks and individual blood tests at over 200 clinics around Sweden. Through a blood test, you can check various health values and follow how they change over time. Which values are analyzed depends on which health test or blood test you order.

You first need to order your test at the Test Clinic. You can then book an appointment or visit a testing clinic that offers drop-in. On the clinic page, you can see the address, opening hours and information about what applies at the clinic you have chosen.

Regular testing can give you better knowledge of your health and make it possible to notice changes that may need to be followed up. Your test results will be available digitally after the laboratory analysis is complete.

MRI, CT, ultrasound and DEXA at selected clinics

In addition to blood tests and health checks, we also offer several types of diagnostic imaging examinations. At selected clinics, you can undergo magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, ultrasound or DEXA measurement.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, also known as an MRI or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), produces detailed images of the body's organs and tissues without using ionizing radiation. MRI can be used to examine the brain, spine, joints, muscles, and internal organs, among other things.

Computed Tomography (CT)

Computed tomography, also known as a CT scan or a CT scan, uses X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. For example, the scan can be used to image organs, blood vessels, lungs, bones, and other tissues.

Ultrasound scan

An ultrasound scan uses sound waves to create images of the inside of the body. Ultrasound can be used to examine organs, soft tissues, blood vessels, and various types of changes in the body, among other things.

DEXA measurement

A DEXA examination is primarily used to measure bone density and assess the risk of osteoporosis. Depending on the type of examination, DEXA can also be used to measure body composition, such as the distribution between fat mass and muscle mass.

How to book an examination

First order the examination you want to have at the Test Clinic. For diagnostic imaging examinations, a medical assessment is made and, if necessary, a referral is issued and sent to the relevant clinic. The clinic will then contact you with information about the time, place and any preparations.

After the examination, the images are reviewed by a specialist. You will then have access to the results and information about any further follow-up.

Find the nearest sample collection or X-ray clinic

Search for your location to find a clinic for blood tests, MRI, CT, ultrasound or DEXA. On each clinic page you can see which services are offered and whether the clinic uses appointment booking, drop-in or call.

We are continuously working to expand our network to make sample collection, health checks and imaging diagnostics available in more locations in Sweden.
