In the case of a PCR express test, the analysis is carried out directly in connection with the sampling, which gives you a test result and travel certificate within a maximum of 2 hours. PCR express can be booked at all clinics and the sample is taken with a swab in the nose or throat.
This is how it works: Book an appointment for PCR express at any clinic. It is important that you can show valid identification, payment is made on the spot by card. The visit takes no more than 10 minutes.
Test answers: Test answers and travel certificate will be sent to you digitally within a maximum of two hours. If you are a citizen of an EU country, you will also receive a test certificate (certificate) from the E-health authority.
What to think about before taking the test: One hour before taking the sample, you should avoid eating, drinking, smoking or sniffing.

What is meant by PCR express?
PCR stands for Polymerase Chain Reaction and refers to the analysis technique for identifying genetic material from the coronavirus (RNA). The PCR test is used to demonstrate that you do not have an ongoing covid infection or that you have been exposed to the virus in the near future. With an express PCR, the analysis is carried out as quickly as possible, often with the help of a local PCR unit, which means that the sample can be processed on site and the result can be read immediately after analysis.
When will I receive my certificate after the test?
With a PCR express, you will receive test results within 2 hours.
What happens if I test positive for covid?
If the analysis shows the presence of nucleic acid from Sars-CoV-2 (covid-19), you will receive a certificate showing a positive response.
