Allergic reactions to foods can cause a variety of symptoms, such as skin rashes, swelling, stomach problems, breathing difficulties and anaphylaxis, which in some cases can be life-threatening.

This allergy test is good if you suspect an allergy to one or more of the most common allergens that cause allergic reactions. This allergy panel includes egg whites, cow's milk, peanuts and mustard. The test is performed by taking a blood sample which is then analyzed to measure the levels of IgE antibodies against each allergen. By testing you, you can identify the allergens that can cause allergic reactions and can thus take appropriate measures to avoid them and reduce your symptoms.

Detailed test results for each allergen

Your test results are reported for each specific allergen (allergy marker) included. The allergy test should not be confused with common allergy panels where you do not see which specific allergen you may have a hypersensitivity to or are allergic to.
