In order for you to be able to have normal nerve and muscle function, to be able to convert calcium and to have a production of protein, the mineral magnesium is needed. We get magnesium through our diet from, among other things, leafy vegetables and some animal products. Certain diseases such as stomach and intestinal disease and dietary restrictions can cause a magnesium deficiency, which can be one of the reasons for doing a magnesium test.

This test measures your magnesium level in your blood and detects whether you have a magnesium deficiency and gives you any indications of lifestyle changes that can adjust your values.

Information

Minerals are non-organic compounds that are used as building blocks to build up parts of the body.
