Description

With our Health check woman, we measure values for the heart and blood vessels, thyroid gland, kidney, liver, diabetes, vitamins and minerals, blood status and inflammation, which all together give a good picture of your health and discover any current or future deficiencies or deviations which can be improved and prevented with changed lifestyles.

Healthy lifestyle habits such as eating a healthy diet, not smoking, having a low/no or moderate intake of alcohol and exercising every day help the body feel good and can reduce the risk of contracting public diseases. By regularly measuring your values, you can detect any deviations or illnesses in time and gain a deeper understanding of how the body actually feels.

This is how it works: The test is a blood test that is carried out at the selected sampling unit.

Sample response: You normally have a response within 6 banking days after taking the sample. The test answer is sent digitally to your e-mail. Together with your test answer, you will receive a report in English about your values.

To think about: The blood sample must be taken on an empty stomach (at least 10 hours) and should be taken as early as possible in the day, before 10:00 at the latest. Do not drink alcohol the day before. It is important to completely avoid anti-inflammatory drugs, pain or fever reducers or a recently completed antibiotic treatment before sampling.

Remember: Bring valid identification with you when taking the sample.

Information

Why should I do a major health check as a woman?

Women and men who eat healthily, are physically active, do not smoke and only consume moderate amounts of alcohol, or no alcohol at all, live an average of 14 years longer than those with unhealthy lifestyle habits.

Many factors, such as your age, health, family history and lifestyle choices, affect how often you should check your values. In general, healthy people should have a health check approximately every two to three years at the age of 25-35, from the age of 40 it is good to have the health check approximately every one and a half to two years and then every year from around 50 -years of age when the risk of suffering from heart and vascular diseases increases as we get older.

A health check identifies early signs of health problems

Regular health checks can identify any early signs of health problems. Finding problems early means your chances of effective treatment increase. Even if a person does not have heart disease, a blood test can show whether they may be at risk of developing the condition.

Having a health check is also a time to examine your lifestyle to see what improvements can be made. If your values show that you have a hormonal imbalance or a lack of important vitamins or minerals, you have a chance to optimize your lifestyle for increased well-being.
