Information

Blood status is a common blood test that includes the analysis and calculation of a number of different blood cells, including red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets (hemoglobin, erythrocytes, erythrocyte mean cell volume, hematocrit, leukocytes, hemoglobin mass and platelets).

The test gives you a more comprehensive picture of your particular blood status and is carried out with the aim of: measuring the amount of oxygen-carrying hemoglobin in the blood, evaluating the number of platelets in the blood, calculating what proportion of your blood consists of red blood cells, evaluating how your red the blood cells look and function and screen for possible inflammations and infections that affect your white blood cells.

Proteins are specific nutrients made up of several combined amino acids. In the body, there are over 10,000 different proteins that form the building blocks of all tissues and other body parts and are used in several important processes such as forming cells, enzymes and hormones.

PLT
Platelets
Thrombocytes, also known as platelets, are cells important for blood clotting. They are produced in the bone marrow and help prevent bleeding by forming blood clots in the event of injury. The platelets attach to the site of injury and form a plug to stop the bleeding and protect the body.
