Can my medications or supplements affect my test results?

Yes, some medications and dietary supplements affect test results. If you have questions about how your medications can affect your test results you need to consult your doctor who prescribes your medication regarding this. It is generally recommended that samples are only submitted two weeks after any antibiotic treatment has ended.

Regarding dietary supplements, they will affect your test results depending on which samples you take and which dietary supplements you consume. It can therefore be good to test your values before you start any consumption of food supplements so that you get a good insight into whether and what type of food supplements are needed, alternatively if it is enough to eat a more varied diet.
