Description

In order for you to be able to have normal nerve and muscle function, to be able to convert calcium and to have a production of protein, the mineral magnesium is needed. We get magnesium through our diet from, among other things, leafy vegetables and some animal products.

Certain diseases such as stomach and intestinal disease and dietary restrictions can cause magnesium deficiency. This test measures your magnesium level in your blood and detects whether you have a magnesium deficiency and gives you any recommendations for lifestyle changes that can adjust your values.

This is how it works: The test is a blood test that is carried out through a venous blood sample during a physical visit to the selected sampling unit.

Sample response: You normally have a response within 6 working days after taking the sample. The test answer is sent digitally to your e-mail. Together with your test results, you will receive a report in Swedish about your values and the doctor's comment. In case of major deviations from the reference value, the doctor will call you.

Remember: Bring valid identification with you when taking the sample.
