How do I make my own referral?

At Testmottagningen you can easily order your own medical referral for both blood tests and X-ray examinations. The service is designed to give you quick and easy access to medical tests without first having to book a doctor's appointment within traditional healthcare.

To create your own referral, select the health tests, blood tests or X-ray examinations that you want to perform. You can either choose a ready-made health check or add individual analysis markers to your shopping cart, such as hormones, vitamins, cholesterol or other blood values.

Once you have made your selection and completed the order at the checkout, a medical referral is created based on the analyses or examinations you have selected. This referral is then used when taking a sample or for your X-ray examination.

For blood tests, you can then submit your sample to one of our affiliated sampling clinics around Sweden. If you have ordered an X-ray examination, you can instead book an appointment at one of the X-ray clinics that collaborate with the Test Reception. All blood tests and X-ray examinations are carried out at accredited medical laboratories and X-ray examinations are performed by established radiology clinics. This ensures that both the sampling, the analyzer and the examinations maintain the same high medical quality as in regular healthcare.
