The sample collection fee is a fixed cost that refers to the visit to the clinic where you submit your sample. The fee is not affected by how many tests you have ordered, but varies depending on the order value:

  • For order values under SEK 350, the sampling fee is SEK 129.
  • For order values between SEK 350 and SEK 1000, the fee is SEK 59.

How much does an MRI scan cost?

The cost of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination varies depending on which area of ​​the body is to be examined, how extensive the imaging is and which healthcare provider performs the examination. In general, the price for an MRI referral is somewhere between 3,500 and 6,000 SEK per specific body part at the healthcare provider we collaborate with.

For example, at many private providers in Sweden, a brain MRI costs up to 9,000–15,000 SEK. These providers of course have a medical responsibility, but often also have high margins and fixed package prices that can be perceived as overpriced – especially if you only want to examine a specific area.
