Why should I take an antibody test?

Get answers if you have covid-19 antibodies and the total concentration of antibodies your body has produced. Antibodies are developed by the body's immune system after you have had covid-19 or after you have been vaccinated against covid-19. The antibodies can provide complete or partial protection against getting the virus back and getting severe symptoms. If you have had Covid-19 symptoms such as dry cough, fever, nasal congestion, headache, sore throat, muscle aches and or difficulty breathing, it may be a sign of Covid-19.

Specification - Antibody test

The test result is positive (POS) if the IMA value is above 15. In this case, the person has developed antibodies against SARS-Cov-2 and the sample is considered reactive. Based on scientific literature, results of around 50 BAU/ml are considered low positive, and high positive are considered at above 200-250 BAU/ml.
